August Winners!
Hello and welcome to the first of the August winners posts. And what a contest it has been! Our Flickr pool has been flooded with brightly colored kids’ cards and critters and we have LOVED selecting our favorites. So, on with the results…
Our Fresh Face winner this month is purplecookiecards who wowed us with this fabulous Christmas scene made using our Sending Holiday Cheer stamp set. We love the fun concertina style folding and all the fabulous different elements.
Our digital winner is Stripey Fish, whose beautifully produced pirate card features stamps from our A Pirate’s Life For Me digikit. We love her homemade pirate ship designer paper. A perfect card for a little boy!
And now onto our Fab Five, five of our favorite projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Fresh Face and Digital winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.
First up is Pia Overgaard, who used our Brilliant set from the Oxford collection to create this fun kid’s card. Love those pandas peeking through the bus windows…
Next, this sweet and pretty creature card by momi0314. Aqua, pink and brown is a marriage made in heaven, and we love her swirly background created using our Magical Background cling stamp.
Shandon2203 has made this super fun, interactive kid’s card with our Sweet Owls printable digikit. What a lovely birthday card for a crafty child!
This shaped snowglobe card by “Card”rageous (Robin) is truly a masterpiece. Her Dancing Mouse looks so happy in this perfect winter’s scene.
And finally, ScrappinBari (Linda W) who combined digital die cuts with lots of stamps to create this fabulous birthday scene. Our cute Caterpillar and Smiling Sun were cut using her Silhouette and stamped with fun patterns to add loads of texture. We just love it.
