Social Club Goes to the Beach

social_500

Welcome to this week’s Social Club. We’re enjoying summer, and thought we’d highlight some beach themed cards we spotted in our Flickr pool to help get you in the mood for sun, sea and sand.

First up, it’s this hybrid masterpiece by Prospurring (Anne).  She used a dolphin image from our Sea Life - Dolphins digikit, and added lots of distress inks and stamping.

Julie Ranae’s fun birthday card uses stamps from our Oceans of Joy set.  We love the blue and white pearly bubbles, and all the gorgeous dry embossing.

And finally, Virginia L, who used a shell stamp from our Antique Engravings set to create these stylish one layer thank you cards. Simple and elegant.

Thank you ladies for sharing your beautiful work with us.  You’ve certainly got us in the mood for a vacation…

And don’t forget that tonight is the deadline for round 1 of our July contest.  Tag your entries with July2011A to be in with a chance of winning $50 worth of yummy Hero Arts products.

Have a great day,

P.S.  If you like today’s cards, why not check out some of our other sea themed stamps… we have the cute Fish and Shells clear set with matching downloadable die cutting file, the stylish and speckled Sea Life set, and our Treasures of the Sea digikit which is full of seaside themed stamps.  All are perfect for summer birthdays, invites and more!
