Hello and welcome to the winners post for the first round of the April contest! We have some stunning cards to share with you today. As always, we had lots of fabulous entries, and picking the best was very difficult. Big thanks to everyone who entered! Now let’s take a look at some outstanding projects.
Our Fresh Face winner for this contest is Disp6194 who created this beautiful card set based on Sketch 4. We adore the rainbow colors and all the delicious stamped butterflies.
Now onto our Fab Five, five of our favorite projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Fresh Face and Digital winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.
And Tina completely wowed us with this gorgeous Three Ferns creation - an innovative take on this month’s stamp layering technique. (She provides a great photo tutorial on this technique here on her blog!)
And finally, Emily’s delightful card based on Sketch 4. The great colors and clean design caught our eye right away. We especially love how she stamped various bikes to create her own custom patterned paper.
Congratulations to all the winners!! Please contact us at email@example.com with your address and phone number, and also include your list of $50 worth of product! You can look through our online store to create your list. (Note: All new products from the More Spring catalog will be available tomorrow!) Please include “April2011A Winner” in the subject line. There are also blog blinkies available for all the winners - if you’d like one, please let us know in your email and we’ll send it along as well!
And you still have time to submit to Round 2 of this month’s contest! Please tag your Sketch, Masculine, and Stamp Layered projects with April2011B and enter them into our Flickr Pool. Deadline for entry is Thursday, April 28 at 11:59pm Pacific time.
Now, how about even more inspiration from our Hero Hostesses? As always, they’ve done an amazing job with their challenge cards the past couple of weeks. Take a look by clicking on any of the circles or the names below to see the cards in full.
Thanks again to all who participated this round — we hope you had as much fun creating your projects as we did admiring them!
