For the Birthday Boy

Hi everyone, it’s Kelly here!  For my card today I used one of the sketches that are a part of this month’s challenge.  You can find a PDF with all four sketches to print out on the April Contest Details page.

I pretty much followed the sketch to a tee, which made this a very quick and easy card to make.  You could easily make this card more suitable for an older boy or man by changing out the bicycle image.  Any of the images in the CL478 Going clear stamp would be perfect!

The polka dot pattern on bottom portion of the card was created using one of the images from the Many Dots clear stamp set.  Imagine all the wonderful backgrounds you could create with all of the cute dot patterns in this set…the possibilities are endless!

   Love this card! It’s perfect for a boys birthday. I always have such a hard time trying to think of a design that’s masculine, but not too adult. thanks for the inspiration as always!
