Hero Hostess Week Finale
Hi everyone, Heather here! I’m really enjoying the birthday theme this month and just want to show you something I like to do for birthdays or other occasions.
Often I make my own wrapping paper and embellishments for gifts. Sometimes it’s because I want to make the gift a little bit extra special or sometimes it’s because I’ve run out of gift wrap! Either way it’s great fun.
With the wide range of Hero Arts stamps it’s possible to make wrapping paper in any style and for any occasion – the possibilities are endless. I usually have a few rolls of paper in different colours in the house. The roll I used for this project cost me the same as one sheet of wrapping paper and is 70 m long, so it will last me quite a while! I had fun playing with paper, vellum, gems, embossing powder and string to wrap these gifts.
Project by Heather Doran. See the complete supplies and instructions here.
If you haven’t tried making wrapping paper and embellishments for gifts before, I hope you’ll give it a go – I promise you’ll enjoy it!
Well today is the last day of the Hostess Takeover. Linda, Sharon, Sally, Anita and I have had such great fun creating birthday cards & projects and being on the blog this week. We hope you’ve enjoyed the week too! We’d love to say a big thanks to Hero Arts for letting us loose on the blog. I hear the Hero Artists have been working their magic in their studios and I can’t wait to see in the coming weeks the brilliant projects they’ve created to inspire us! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and happy stamping everyone!
