Playing with Dies

Here at Hero Arts, we love seeing what our talented readers can do with dies. So today we decided to share three beautiful projects from our Flickr pool that have caught our eye, all of which feature die cut shapes.
Firstly, Vicky’s funny and clever card. We love the flying Bicycle… and those die cut balloons add so much color to this happy card. Vicky, this could not get any cuter!

Rosemary’s beautifully sophisticated card uses soft tones and varied textures to wonderful effect. The delicately stamped Fabric Design background adds such elegance to this card, and we love the coral die cut leaves.

And finally, Jenny. This adorable card features die cut waves and clouds, all a perfect complement to her flirtatious fish. Such fun!

Thank you ladies for sharing your talent with us. If you’d like a Social Club blinkie for your blog, send us an email at winner@heroarts.com and we’ll pass it along!
And don’t forget that our current Birthdays, Stamped Envelopes and Layered Backgrounds Contest is underway!
You have until Thursday, March 17th at 11:59pm PST to submit for the first round. Remember to include the tag March2011A. Good luck!
Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to each and every stamper who contributed to the 50K milestone in the Hero Arts Flickr Group! What an amazing accomplishment…and in less than three years!

The 50,000th project was uploaded this past Saturday — an exciting moment that’s definitely cause for celebration! So…we’ve created a special “50K Club” blinkie to commemorate the milestone! If you’re a Flickr group member and would like to display this blinkie on your blog, you can find it over in the sidebar. (It will be available for a limited time so grab it while you can!)
We’re enjoying the wonderful cards submitted for the 50 Grand Contest so far. Thanks to all who have entered! You have until this Sunday, March 13th at 11:59pm PST to enter for a chance to win new stamps from the Spring Catalog. Complete details here!
Happy Stamping,
