Layered Stamped Backgrounds

Welcome back! Today’s video will feature Shari’s technique that shows how to create Layered Stamped Backgrounds.

Additionally we have another card that Shari created highlighting this technique. This beautiful card looks like a piece of artwork, doesn’t it? And yes you too can make a card as elegant as this one by our own Shari Carroll. After watching the video you will see how easy this card is to create for the very sophisticated women in your life.

Card by Shari Carroll.

All of you know and admire Shari’s work; but you might think it is out of reach for you. I have known Shari for 22 years, and she has managed to balance working (sometimes more than one job ), caring for her family and having enough time to develop new skills.

She started stamping for Hero Arts the day her second son was due (she barely fit close enough to the table to stamp!). She continued to work and create while taking care of her 2 young boys and running her own home day care. As her boys grew so did her roll at Hero Arts, always coming up with new techniques, color combinations and ideas. We used to call her the “Sunny D” mom because she seemed to manage all her rolls seamlessly with a smile. Just like the “Sunny D” mom in the TV commercial, her house was always full of children, laughter and lots of fun. She and her husband Tom still have a house full of boys, which are now young men.

Shari never gave up on her artistic dream; so the next time you think you don’t have time to create and follow your dream, think of Shari. Her hard work and inventive spirit have taken her from stamper, published author, trade show instructor and mom to blogger, Digital Manager and our new techniques expert. Watch her video and enjoy Shari’s technique, you won’t be disappointed.
