More January Winners

It’s time to announce the winners of our second January contest. And once again, we had huge numbers of stunning entries. Thanks to everyone who submitted this month — we always love seeing the creative things you’re doing with Hero Arts stamps!
Our Fresh Face winner for this challenge is anydots, who has made this beautifully clean and simple card using a fragment of the Rectangle Doily stamp. Clever masking!

In the Digital category, Apricot Bubbles’ Sticky Notes Booklet, inspired by page 11 of the catalog, took our breath away. We adore the huge butterfly from our popular Winged Friends digikit.

And now our Fab Five, five of our favorite projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Fresh Face and Digital winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.
First, Lisa, whose masked card is a beauty to behold. We love the unique way she has used the Small Solid Flower stamp to create her tree. So clever.

Jenn (scrapperjjb) has wowed us all with this card, inspired by page 21 of the catalog. The clock face opens up to reveal a tiny heart. Check out the adorable interactive detail on this close up photo.

Brenda’s lovely gift tags feature the Butterfly Flowers stamp. She has masked the flowers before adding the Old Letter Writing background.

The inside of michellesielman’s card is as irresistibly cute as the outside. We love the way she has masked off the Friend Definition stamp, and the addition of the sweet butterfly.

And finally, Robin’s elegant card is simply perfect. The color scheme is delicious, and the beautiful masked oval really draws the eye to the silhouetted flowers. Lovely.

Congratulations to all the winners!! Please contact us at winner@heroarts.com with your address and phone number, and also include your list of $50 worth of product! You can look through our online store to create your list. Please include “January2011B Winner” in the subject line. There are also blog blinkies available for all the winners - if you’d like one, please let us know in your email and we’ll send it along as well!
And don’t forget, our new contest has started.
Please upload your love, friendship and “kissing” cards into our Flickr pool tagged with February2011A. For more on the stamp kissing technique, check out Shari Carroll’s technique article and video here. The first round of entries are due by 11:59pm PST on Thursday, February 10th — one week from today. So get stamping and have fun!

Congratulations all!:-)
I love the simplicity of the first card, and how clever to use that solid flower stamp to create the top part of that tree! Also love how the inside of the other card has been stamped — why only make the outside of our cards pretty.. the insides and enveloppes could be pretty too!:)
