Let’s Hop! Hero Arts 2011 Catalog Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Hero Arts 2011 Catalog Blog Hop! We’re so happy you’re here!!
In anticipation and celebration of our 2011 Catalog, we’ve lined up 24 Hero Arts designers and friends to create projects with brand NEW 2011 stamps. It’s going to be an inspiring showcase of ideas and a glimpse of what awaits at Catalog Preview Parties worldwide! It’s also going to be a chance for you to WIN some of the new stamps…stay tuned for more on that in a bit!
First, our very own Sally Traidman and Nancy Taylor are here with some projects to get things hoppin’!
Sally says, “Holiday Greetings everyone! As you all know, I love flowers. Real, paper, silk…they are all good! I chose this fabulous new woodblock stamp, F5493 Hand Drawn Small Flower, to make a colorful bouquet of stamps that will live forever. Simply stamp it on any paper scrap three times and layer it by cutting it down. Stick foam tape in between, stick a fringed strip in the middle and pop a wire in the center. Tape or glue it to the wire and cover with floral tape. Add leaves. Have fun hopping around today. Hope you gather some really great ideas!”
And now here’s Nancy! She says,“Welcome to our new Hero Arts Catalog blog hop! Hop along with us for some new and exciting samples of things to come. We have be waiting (not so patiently) to show all of you our beautiful new images, so take a deep breath and have fun. With so many new stamps to choose from this was a tough decision. However; I thought after everybody’s marathon stamping over the holidays we needed a simple, ‘Minute to Stamp It’ card for Thank You’s that can use up some of your holiday supplies. This Silhouette card featuring the new woodblock LP195 3 Silhouettes can be made with many different colors of paper scraps and accessories (think blue and silver and a snowflake gem or maybe a felt tree with red and green paper. Hippety-hop here we go!“

Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, Sally and Nancy!
Now, about those PRIZES we mentioned earlier…here’s the scoop!

I love, love, love the big floral stamps. They make such a statement on their own, and are so versatile. Can’t wait to see them in person. The difficult part will be choosing which one to purchase… first.
