Happy Fall, y’all!  The Hero Arts Flickr pool has been positively overflowing this month with beautiful autumn-inspired creations, which we’ve looked through to find the winners from the first half of our September contest.  So without further ado…

We’re excited to introduce you to our Fresh Face winner from this round, gg nurse (Greta).  This gorgeous card caught our eye right away - she stamped the Leaf Prints image with Liquid Applique.  Have you ever thought to try that?

Our Digital category winner is quilterlin, who incorporated the Basic Tree DigiKit image into her cute design.  Our favorite thing about this card are those sweet birds holding up her message - so cute!

And now onto our Fab Five - five fabulous projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Digital and Fresh Face winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.

This first card from Tina (julmat) is so creative and fun!  Tina enlarged a copy of our Traditional Pumpkin image, cut out the pieces and stamped them with Lace Background.  The lace is unexpected on a pumpkin, but looks gorgeous!

Next up is Hxnnie (Hannah), who consistently amazes us with her creativity!  See the wonderfully green witch on her card?  It’s actually our Girlfriend stamp!  Hannah altered it to read “ghoulfriend” and added that fun & sparkly witch hat.  Love it!!  You can check out the full transformation on her blog.

Have you ever looked at our Starburst stamp and thought it would make a great harvest moon?  Kathyrosecrans did!  And thanks to that creative spark, she’s one of our Fab Five winners!

Are you ready to feast your eyes on some absolute gorgeousness!?  Just look at this beauty from Virginia L. Doesn’t it make you swoon just a bit?

And finally, another adorable card from maropeusa.  We are “So Thankful” that Mariana likes to color our dolls, because boy she does a great job with them!
