July has come and gone.  It left us hungry.  And full of wanderlust.  Yes, we are going to point fingers.  It’s all your fault! You shared such wonderful creations in our Flickr pool, all we’ve been able to think about is traveling the world and sampling yummy food!  Ok ok, so it was our idea in the first place - we made you do it.  Details, details.  How about we name some more July winners and call it even? 

Not only did we ask you to play with food and travel in your July creations, we also suggested you give bookmaking a try.  And our Fresh Face winner did just that!  We love this little book Anneke De Clerk created to document a recent trip to the UK - combining bookmaking and travel!  Her “concertina binding” is completely fabulous, and we love how she used Antique Brocade and other stamped images behind her photos.

Our Digital winner, sarahjane4kids (Sarah M) was inspired by this month’s theme to create this adorable travel mug for her hubby!  This hybrid masterpiece combines wonderful stamping with clouds and airplanes cut from her Silhouette.  Such a fun idea!

And now onto our Fab Five - five fabulous projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Digital and Fresh Face winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.

We adore this idea from prospurring (Anne) - the book she created is a little tag book full of examples of various stamping techniques!  A smart idea - and it’s really pretty, too!

We were happy to travel with skermit12 (Stephanie) to this lovely beach for a cool drink, especially when the drink is one created with our Let’s Chill set!  The place on this card is a very happy place indeed.

Here’s something different for the food portion of this month’s challenge - a mini canvas from dustypenny!  The colors she used are gorgeous, and the shine and crackle on the pear from Simply the Best is really fantastic!

The background on this card from spmissy is so yummy.  Not only the donuts, but also those gorgeous colors!  And the polka dots and pearls on the coffee are the perfect touch.

And finally, an absolutely adorable creation from Alice W (Aliceh83).  Who wouldn’t want to take a ride on a giant cupcake balloon?  Calgon Squirrel, take me awayyyy!  The detail on this card is plain brilliant.
