Special Announcement!

Hi stampers! So glad you stopped by, because today we have a very special Social Club post! We noticed that a few of you picked up on our tweet alluding to a secret a couple of days ago. And then many of you even speculated that perhaps a new group of Hero Hostesses would be soon announced. Well…we’re happy to say you were right on the money! Today we’re beyond thrilled to be welcoming the newest Hero Hostesses!

It’s our pleasure to introduce these six wonderfully supportive, amazingly talented women who will be “donning the apron” for the next three months. Please join us in welcoming:

Day in and day out, these ladies foster creativity and friendship among stampers, and in doing so, they help make the Hero Arts community a truly special place. We’re so very thankful for all that they do and are delighted to have them on board! Today we’re all in for a treat, as each Hostess has created a “hello” card especially for this day. So without further ado…here they are…the Hero Hostesses!

Joy: “Hi Everyone! So yes I have been offered the Apron of Hostessing with my favourite company Hero Arts, I am ready to place my pretty Apron on and get to work. I can honestly tell you I am so honoured to have been invited to hostess and I couldn’t be more excited and thrilled to help out the company that I love and also work alongside some amazing and talented ladies, I look forward to our venture together and I cannot give more thanks to Hero Arts then I can right now, so thank you for this wonderful opportunity. So our wonderful group of hostesses decided on a theme called HELLO to introduce us today, I felt it was such a fitting theme, and if you know me I cannot go pass making cards with flowers on them. I decided to make a card using the Tall Flower stamp and I created another flower out of the outer petals of the main flower, I wanted to create something that would give people inspiration and think outside the box. It is amazing what you can do with a stamp as you can see from my card. I hope that the next few months ahead I inspire you all to create and have fun with stamping.”

Robin: “When I think about how much I’ve grown as a cardmaker in the last two years I owe a lot to the daily inspiration and encouragement I’ve received from Hero Arts and the fab Flickr community (and to my extremely supportive dh!)! When Hero Arts asked if I would be interested in becoming a Hostess I didn’t have to think twice! I will happily wear my apron and I look forward to sharing “Hostess duties” with such a talented and inspiring group of ladies :) Isn’t it truly amazing how a shared love of cardmaking can bring so many different people from around the globe together?!! The card I’m sharing today (made with some of my fave Hero Arts Silhouette stamps!) conveys my enthusiastic ‘Hello’ to you all!”

Nancy: “What a thrill to be invited to put on the famous Hero Hostess Apron! As a long-time fan of Hero Arts (some of my stamps are 20 years old), I’m so happy to be a part of this wonderful family of stampers and crafters, designers and artists. You all are so generous and you’ve given me the confidence to grow and to take on new creative challenges. To make a card to go with Tami’s fabulous fruit theme this week I used the only fruit stamp I have….the little cherry from the Cupcakes clear set. I used it to fill up the basket from the Sunny Smiles cling set and set it against some fun retro-style paper from Cosmo Cricket Early Bird. I’m looking forward to wearing the Apron with this fantastically talented group of Hostesses!”

Kryssi: “I am stoked to be a Hero Hostess! So excited that I can give back to the company that has personally given me so much confidence and inspiration in the past couple of years! I looooove my new apron and I am looking forward to the next few months alongside my other sweet Hostesses. To coincide with this month’s food and travel theme and Tami’s fruity theme this week, I thought it was only fitting for me to pair the totally awesome Sillyscape stamp with the icon of my beloved city. So, here’s a big fat ‘hello’ from the Big Apple, New York! And thanks again for yet another amazing opportunity, Hero Arts!!!”

Barb: “I literally squealed with delight, out loud, when I received the invitation to be a Hero Hostess! I am so thrilled to share this fun adventure and wear an apron alongside the other five amazing hostesses. The next three months will be filled with lots of fun and laughs and I’m looking so forward to all of it. We wanted our first cards as hostesses to say hello to all of you, and it gave me the chance to use one of the newer Hero Arts stamps. I love these little lamps from the Decorative Lamps set! So many possibilities! One of my favorite things is to use Glossy Accents, so I thought I would give a little shine and dimension to my card, by adding some to the shades. Thank you, Hero Arts, for this wonderful opportunity!”

Jenny: “I am over-the-top excited to be a Hero Hostess. I was so honored to receive such an invitation. I can’t begin to express how much I love Hero Arts. So I would love to show you in my card shared here today which showcases some of my favorite stamps especially clouds. If you have seen my work you know how much I love clouds. And I thought the ‘Hello Flag’ stamp would be fitting to say Hello to everyone from the sunny ‘golden state’ of California. And a big thank you to Hero Arts and the wonderful people that work with them, for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to a great adventure along side some super talented ladies.”  :):):):)
