Social Club heads to the shore…

social_500

Today we’re back with another Social Club post, where we’ve scoured the Flickr Group Pool for wonderful works of paper art created by some of you!  One of our monthly themes for July is travel (details HERE), so today we are traveling with you to the shore.  Sometimes trips to the beach are for playing in the sun and splashing in the waves.  But today’s trip is all about the peace and serenity that can come from a lone walk along the beach, or sitting seaside and listening to the waves lap up onto the shore.  We just love all of these beauties created using our Antique Engravings shells.  So come along with us and enjoy…

Wasn’t that a nice trip?  Will you be spending any time along the shore this summer?  As you know there are shores here in the US that are not so peaceful and serene right now.  We’d like to dedicate this post to the people and animals suffering along the Gulf coast.  Our hearts go out to all of them.

Until tomorrow,

Jaemom, I love the cool blue colors of your “sunshine & laughter” card.

Leni4JJC, Your lighthouse card is beautiful. I love the way the you constructed this card. The scalloped circle, the seagulls and the three little red embellishments, it’s so beautiful.

Robin (card rageous), I love the seagreen color you used in your card here, that’s one of my favorite colors. It’s so soft and I think that color always draws the viewer in. The pearls, tag and beautiful ribbon bring this whole card together so perfectly. It’s a stunner for sure!

Decoratie Coudenys - a Lut of stamps, what I love most about your card featured here is the different dimensions with all the different layers. It would also be a perfect card for a man or a woman. Great job!

Simone Naoum, I love the blues in your “Just Saying Hello” card, the background seashells, the glittered main light blue shell on pop dots and the beautiful satin ribbon that brings the whole card togther. Soft and oh so sweet.

Dawn (turleyfamily), I love the way you did the seashell background, stamping and stamping and over stamping the shells. And the way you put the three main focal shells on a white and then black panel, it really makes them jump out at the viewer on this birthday card. Awesome job!!
