Precious Petals and a Video
I was daydreaming about what summer fun crafts my granddaughters would like to do when they get here and decided paper flowers would be just the ticket! It all started with a lone black and white paper flower that was given to me on Mother’s Day from a crafty salesperson in San Francisco. It sits proudly next to my computer and I stare at it everyday. So I decided to translate that into something using some of the many papers and stamps in this month’s Featured Stamps collection. Here’s what I came up with!

Project by Sally Traidman. Click HERE for complete supplies and instructions.
Aren’t those just too much fun? You can stamp and cut individual petals, or punch and stamp HUGE flowers to make it go faster. Adhere with glue dots and twist together with wire and floral tape and you’ve got flowers! And I guarantee this bouquet will not wilt on you, and no water is required!
For today’s video, I asked Lisa to dazzle you with her brilliance. She loves making videos and I am too busy going gaga over all the GORGEOUS hydrangeas out east on my vacation! Thanks, Lisa!!
Hi everyone - Lisa here! I was so inspired by Sally’s paper flowers that I had to try and make some too — only this time out of tissue paper! I think these would make great table decorations for an afternoon tea with friends, don’t you?

Video by Lisa Spangler. Full supplies HERE.
I love using stamps like the Variety and Quality (CG190) to create a background and an embellishment all on the same card — it really ties everything together. And how fun would it be to receive a card with the Girlfriend (G5416) stamp?
Thanks Lisa, and thanks for stopping by today! Come back tomorrow, we’ll be announcing our monthly theme for July!
