Mini Clothespin Accessory Week
Hooray! Summer is finally here. Along with summer comes Hero Arts’ newest “Make Me Smile” accessory; tiny natural wood clothespins.
I made so many fun cards and party invitations it was impossible to add all of them here. I am showing a different use each day this week because I know you all will find many more creative uses than I could ever imagine.
My cards are usually quick and easy, but this week I decided to go for fun and whimsical cards. Tuesday’s card will make even Sally proud. I had so much fun cutting flowers that I may have to invest in a better pair of scissors. I hope you will have as much fun with these tiny “smile making” card accessories as I did.
Today’s design is perfect for our long notecards and is much more fun to open than a bill. Imagine little flags in team colors (from Kiss From The Sun) or little clothes from the same set decorated with gemstones.
The inspiration for this card came from my 4th of July party invitations. I hung the word “Party” on the clothes line and used my computer to add the details inside…but wanting to add a bit of humor I cut up the details (time, place, rsvp, etc) so the recipient has to arrange them puzzle style to find the information. Everyone who has rsvp’d has been laughing when I answer the phone.

Adorable card Nancy! Love the way you have the sentiments pegged to the line between the palm trees! Those little pegs are so cute! Great idea having a puzzle on the inside of your 4th of July invitations too!

I have been on vacation for 10 days and am catching up on what you guys have done the past week or so. I have been working backwards on the ideas
It has been so much fun to see how these clothespins were used each day. Thank you.
