Celebrating National Scrapbooking Day!

scrapbooking_500

Happy Saturday!  Today is National Scrapbooking Day and we’re celebrating with a layout challenge, prizes, and lots of scrapbooking inspiration!

Let’s get the ball rolling with a special weekend challenge! Simply create a new scrapbook page (any theme) and submit it to the Hero Arts Flickr group pool by 11:59pm PST on Sunday, May 2. Please include the tag NSD2010 on all submissions. Enter as many layouts as you wish, as long as they are newly created this weekend. We have two fantastic prize packs up for grabs, and both will be awarded randomly from all the entries…

The first prize is a selection of popular Cling stamps. These are great for backgrounds on scrapbook pages as well as cards!

The second prize is a selection of versatile woodblock stamps that are also perfect for layouts. The message stamp reminds us what scrapbooking is all about.

Wow…what great layouts!!! I love the use of stamps with scrapbook layouts…I think alot of people forget they can stamp all over the pages to make them so unique…these are a great reminder to get those stamps out and put them to use scrapbooking!!!

These pages are so great but I especially like the one with the Blossoms and the big coffee cup. What a wonderful idea to stamp them on patterned paper and put them together!
