Now Cut That Out! Motivation Monday
Welcome to the New Year!
I’m thrilled to be the first blogger for you as we embark on some new adventures in this new decade. For starters, we will now have monthly themes and for January it is “Friendship and Valentines”. Have you seen some of the new stamps we have that work into this grouping? So Yummy! You can browse our online catalog here.
My ideas this week will be centered around “Now Cut that Out” which is a little play on one of my beloved comedians, Jack Benny. I’m notorious for joking around… and for cutting out items in my artwork, so it all just fits together perfectly. I have a card here that features cut out items from an image. One of my favorite things to do is to use foam squares to place the pieces back onto my project creating depth. Check it out.

Here’s a peek at how the layers look from the top. No need to color the underneath parts as they won’t show.

We have some exciting new changes for 2010. Aaron will be by on Wednesday to make an announcement and give you the details of our challenge. So until then, while making your cards, keep thinking Friendship and Valentines and I’ll be back tomorrow with more “Now Cut That Out” inspiring ideas.
Enjoy!
