Two Takes on Cards with CD’s
Hi and welcome back to another day of Cards that Give! Today I will share two ways to incorporate CD’s with your cards.
First, I created this square-shaped card that has a sewn pocket on the inside that is a perfect for holding a CD. The poinsettia flower was created using a free template I found on the internet. I just stamped my own pattern using the Antique Flower Background image, distressed the edges and added some Stickles for a little sparkle.

Card by Kelly Rasmussen.
Supplies:
- Antique Flower Background
- Thank You Messages
- Raindrop Background
- Large Christmas Circle
- Smooth Clear Gemstones
- Ranger Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue
- Colorbox Chalk Queue - Christmas
- Other: Cardstock - Papertrey Ink; Button - Papertrey Ink; Ink - ColorBox Chalk Warm Red, Versafine Crimson Red; QuicKutz Diamonds and Dots Embossing Folder; EK Success Scallop Diamond Border Punch; Other - pattern for poinsettia (found free on the internet), white string, sewing, pop dots
Next up, Lucy created this super cute pocket card that holds a CD of wedding photos. I love this gift idea for family and friends. Who wouldn’t love having a keepsake from such a special event!?!

And here’s a view of the back side. I love how she personalized the message by saying it was “For the world’s best Mother of the Bride.” It adds a special touch so the recipient knows it was made just for them.

Card by Lucy Abrams.
Supplies:
- Digikit - Pinstripes and Dots
- Digikit - Hero Arts Papers
- Clear Design Large Christmas Tags
- Clear Design Decorate Your Own
- Young Deer
- Red Metallic Decor
- Silver Metallic Decor
- Red Gemstones
- Memories Ink Pad - Black
- Versamark
- Clear Embossing Powder
- Other: Bo Bunny Paper; Copic markers; silver thread and sewing machine
CD’s are a quick and easy gift idea for many people. Send out a CD with family photos from that year to family and friends that don’t live close by. Or make a CD of the recipient’s favorite music. It’s a one-of-a-kind gift they’ll surely remember.
Thanks for stopping by today!

What a great idea! I usually send the bride and groom a photo disc after attending a wedding, this would be great packaging!
I’ll have to do one for my mother-in-law next year for Christmas, she’s always asking me for photos, and I’m always forgetting….so I could give her a “year in review” disc.
