Thankful…oh so thankful!
Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go…well, kind of that, in reverse! Grandma and Grandpa are doing the traveling in THIS family, so that means packing my bags again this week and heading to our son’s in Chicago. I have already stamped the place cards, and I will share those tomorrow.
But today, I would love to show you the last minute card I whipped up that you might still have time to send. I used our Thanksgiving clear set and one large stamp for background texture that was lightly inked.
Supplies:
- Clear Design: Season of Giving
- DesignBlock: Four Leaf Grid
- Fall Mixed Notecards
- White Notecards
- Fall Chalk Ink Queue
- Other: ribbon, watercolors or markers
Our HERO team was together last week for meetings and we have a special event video planned for you on Wednesday. It made me feel very thankful that I get to be part of such a great team. In fact, we decided that everyone deservedĀ a few days with friends and family, so we are foregoing this week’s challenge to let everyone savor the moment…that meansĀ readers too!! We want you to enjoy your Thanksgiving, so you don’t have to worry about getting challenge cards done while you are traveling or your turkey is cooking.
However, we still have a giveaway! Just leave a comment here on this blog entry and let us know what you are thankful for. We’ll do a random draw on Friday morning and two lucky winners will win our Clear Design: Thank You Sayings set…
Be sure to come back tomorrow to see our table trimmings!

I am thankful that I have health care. I don’t use it often but when I do, I use it in a big way.

I’m thankful for my incredible family - an amazing husband who is stalwart in his support of the sometimes crazy things I want to do, great kids who have taught me unconditional love and loads of patience, my sisters who are a source of never-ending laughter and wisdom, a mother who has shown me that she will always be there for me and loves me no matter what, a dad who taught me that it’s healthy to be able to laugh at yourself, a mother-in-law who has accepted me as one of her own and friends who are there with sturdy shoulders, kind words and open homes - all at just the right moments. I am truly blessed.
