Just For Fun Friday
Welcome back to my last day of Trimmings. I had a couple questions regarding what I thought trimmings are. Think of embellishing your projects with paper scraps, snippets of ribbon or lace, left over buttons, etc.. Also consider creating projects that can be used for decorating (trimming) the house for the Holidays. I hope that helps.
Today I’ve incorporated a trimming of the silk flower variety along with an inexpensive photo mat board. I’ve stamped the mat board then added some printed paper, ribbon, corrugated paper, cardstock and a stamped greeting for the holidays. This would be great gifts for parents and grandparents.

The layering of the trimmings give a nice texture to the finished project. I’m sure it will get touch a lot, so add some extra glue dots!

Supplies
- Antique Flower Background
- Holiday Cheer
- VersaMark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Soft Sand Ink
- Other: Basic Grey Paper, Gemstone Flower (Prima), corrugated paper (The Paper Company), lace, ribbon
Remember you still have until Sunday evening at 11pm PST to get your projects loaded into the Flickr pool. Be sure to tag your creations with Trimming. I can’t wait to see them all! I’ll be back next Thursday to announce the winners of the challenge.
