World Cardmaking Day Celebration!

Hello, cardmakers!

Today is World Cardmaking Day.  What a great day to celebrate our wonderful hobby.

Several of the Hero Arts artists are traveling today.  In fact, Shari Carroll and Jennifer McGuire are teaching Hero Arts classes in Houston.  So, after class, they will come share some ideas and photos.  Check back soon!

In the meantime, we need a prize!  Just leave a comment here by 11:59pmPST on Sunday night telling us about the last card you made.  A lucky winner will get to pick out any FOUR of their favorite stamps from the new catalog to play with!

Due to us all traveling, comments may take some time to be approved.  But we promise to be back soon with things to share!

   The last card I made was for a friend who showed empathy towards my sister who is going through chemo. She has never met her but loves her because of our friendship. I am blessed.

   The last card I made was a trial gatefold card. It is so simple and effective. I just have to make a few little adjustments to make it “mine’s”.

   I made a couple of halloween and christmas cards but my last one was a very simple card using my new hero arts clear stamp with the tiny christmas tree. I love it!

   Love your designs, I always find something new when I visit your websight. I had never thought of covering a button before but it really looks great. Whenever I come to your sight I get great idea’s on making my cards. Thanks alot I really appricate all you do. Reba

   I am so glad that Hero Arts is going with the red rubber cling. This whole catalog is wonderful and filled with the greatest ideas. As I teach at a stamp store, I can’t wait to work with some of these.

   The last card I made was a birthday card for my new niece from Peru. I want to show her how we make beautiful cards here - and with these wonderful ideas, my next cards for her and her mother (also newly-arrived from Peru) will be MUCH more beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration! You’ll keep me going!

    I just made a nice Halloween card to send with a gift for an exchange, and some birthday card for upcoming birthdays. I love to do cards now !
