I love to use sentiment stamps and then a lot of masculine embellishments. Most of my image stamps are feminine-ish, so I go safe with just the sentiment.

I like to use plain background stamps on my “boy” projects — dots, woodgrain, stripes, then embellish with something in which they’re interested: sports equipment or books (for the readers) or letters.

Oh man! LOL These guys did an awesome job on all their projects!!! If only I could get my man to craft along with me, we’d see each other a whole lot more! LOL He just says “uh hmm” to everything I show him… ugh, oh well. You gals are very lucky to have guys who aren’t afraid to show their crafty side!

no way, this is such an incredibly fun challenge, so glad I got a chance to read it! I’m not terribly great with masculine cards, but like using the Three Ferns, Woodgrain and Four Leaf Grid.

The cards by the guys are great. Don’t think I’ll be seeing my hubby using my rubber stamps. The woodgrain stamp is fantastic. I would love to have it.

I totally loved seeing what the guys came up with - can I request that they do cards for the blog more often?

For masculine cards I like to use trees, fish, or a grid stamp. I unfortunately don’t make many guy cards, but the wood grain stamp would be great for that!

I am loving the projects the guys created. I always tend to use blue, brown and beige coloured cardstocks and patterned papers when creating masculine layouts and cards.

Jennifer….I love that your husband thinks you’re hot and isn’t afraid to tell the world!!! That is so sweet. Ok, so I absolutely adore that woodgrain stamp and my honey is a carpenter, so I could definitely get some mileage out of that one. Speaking of woodgrain…I’ve been searching in vain I think for a woodgrain embossing folder or brass template….anyone know of such a thing?
