My new favorite way is to color a few lines on an acetate block and then, using a Tombow blending pen, add the color to the stamped image with whatever intensity I want to achieve. For me, their shading is the easiest to control. I also really enjoy shimmer paints such as liquid shimmer or the new drier ones (the name of which has left me at the moment.)
