Tag Challenge Winners!
Hello! Nancy here, back to announce the winners of last week’s Tag Challenge. As the wonderful entries kept rolling in to the Flickr group last week, I knew it was going to be another very tough judging process. I’d like to thank each and every one of you who stamped something for this challenge — you are all winners in my book!
First up is our Fresh Face prize, which always goes to a stamper who hasn’t yet won a contest. We love seeing new faces pop up each week in the Flickr group! This week our Fresh Face winner is Nelli-joy. She created a tag card that’s “clearly” outstanding. From acetate to book text to canvas, the surfaces of this card are unique and beautiful.
Winning the Scrapbooking category is kristinaproffitt, whose cheerful layout is full of fun and colorful details. Just looking at it makes me smile! The composition is excellent, and I really like the way she included tags of three different sizes.
Now, for First Place…congratulations to Stampin Sue! The colors and embossing on her card are eye-catching, and the trio of tags in vellum envelopes is a creative idea that adds a great interactive touch. Well done, Sue!
In Second Place we have Mysterio 21 for her wonderful set of acetate holiday tags. I love the clean and simple look of these and couldn’t possibly pick a favorite so I’ll show you all three! Each one is special, and each would make a lovely holiday package adornment.
Speaking of packages, we have Linda aka Oz with her delightful Halloween goodie package in Third Place this week. This is a shining example of how a unique presentation can really elevate a small gift. A little tender-loving-stamping makes this Halloween treat extra special! The plaid pumpkin and owl ghost on her tag couldn’t be cuter.
We also have some Honorable Mention projects this week.
First, check out this clever belated birthday card from jen ink. If you happen to forget to send a birthday card on time (and who doesn’t?), all is forgiven with this adorable little number! I love the use of the tiny tag with the date stamp.
Another Honorable Mention goes to Jacqueline.fr. She always creates amazing cards and this one is sure a beauty. The way she integrated the small tag into the layered collage design is fantastic.
Congratulations winners! Please email the blog with the subject line “Tag Winner”, including your name and address (and phone number as well, if you are outside the United States — this is for shipping purposes.) Thank you!
Our very talented Hero Hostesses were busy creating lovely tag samples this week too…have a look below at their inspiring work. (Click for a larger view.)
Projects by Virginia Lu, Tracey Kuzniak, Lucy Abrams, Sarah Moerman, Cathy Andronicou, Lin Brandyberry, Tiffany Ervin.
Once again, thanks for playing along with the Tag Challenge! I so enjoyed checking out all of your projects and in fact, I am completely inspired to sit down and stamp.
It’s a great day for stamping!
