On the Road Again…
Let’s take another trip today…this time out east. When I travel, I always take a business card from the restaurants we go to. That way I can remember the names. By collecting pamphlets, tickets, etc. along the way, it enables you to make a souvenir booklet, journal or a thank you note for people you have visited.
I love mini books, so let’s show you that first.
Supplies:
- Travel Frames Messages
- Long Travel Borders
- Travel Frames
- Bird Branch Alphabet
- Dots & Flowers
- Memories Black Ink
- Memories Dahlia Ink
- Peeled Paint Distress Ink
- Pink & Lime Notecards
- Spring Blossom Papers
- Other: paper scraps, ribbon, punches
Another idea is a little book for JUST restaurants…I am such a foodie.
Supplies:
- Travel Frames
- Bird Branch Alphabet
- Travel Frames Messages
- Memories Black Ink
- Other: paper scraps, rings, ribbons, clips
Or here’s another idea — try a book held together with two binder rings.
The inside pages are stamped with a variety of DesignBlock stamps.
Supplies:
- Travel Frames
- DesignBlock Flower Background
- Grid Pattern
- Modern Lines
- Dots & Flowers
- Bold Flourish
- Memories Black Ink
- Memories Dahlia Ink
- Soft Blossom Shadow Ink
- Peeled Paint Distress Ink
- Scattered Straw Distress Ink
- Other: notecard scraps, flower and hole punches
I hope this has sparked a few ideas for preserving some of your own travel memorabilia. Remember, it’s all about documenting the memories, so just have fun and go for it!!
