Watch it Wednesday
Wow, I can’t believe we are to Wednesday already! I hope you are enjoying this week where we are going ‘beyond paper’ and exploring all the different mediums we have available to us to stamp on and into. Today we have a card as well as a second beautiful project with accompanying video by our guest designer. So, let’s start your morning off with some fresh ideas to get you inspired!
First, I did this colorful card by stamping on foam and on some cream grosgrain ribbon. The foam was stamped with a dye ink to change the overall (bright yellow) color of the foam so it matched well with the rest of my card. I found the dye ink I used dried quickly without smudging. For the grosgrain ribbon I laid the ribbon out flat on my stamping surface and then stamped with a houndstooth patterned stamp. I used a brown dye ink for this and it dried immediately also.

I did this button embossing years ago… but the stamp you used makes it really cool! That’s really the secret… a really good clear image stamp with just enough detail!
