Watch It Wednesday!
WOW this week is going by so fast! I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already. So far this week we’ve been hit with a mini blizzard and right now it’s negative 13 (f), not sure what the wind chill is, all I know is it’s COLD!!
So, since I’ve been hibernating indoors for several days, I came up with a fun one for today. I call this my Secret Slide Out Pocket Scallop card. lol I have to say that out of all the cards I’ve done this week, these were by far my favorite. I was relaxed and really enjoyed the process of creating.
Here’s a little video to introduce you to the concept. Oh, and I’ve included some machine sewing for those who have asked.
And now a few shots of these little guys.
Fold the paper flowers to create buds.
Mix a variety of papers together to add splashes of color.

One of my favorite things to do is to use book text for my flower centers.
Use large eyelets to hold the string for the pocket messages.
Supplies:
- Scattered Leaves
- All Occasion Messages
- Kraft Notecards
- Neutral Notecards
- Walnut Distress Ink
- Peeled Paint Distress Ink
- Old Paper Distress Ink
- VersaMark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Art Flowers Meadow
- Other: Large Eyelets We R Memory Keepers, various pattern papers, hemp, book text circle punches and sewing supplies
