Take Two and More Terrific Pockets
Welcome Back!
I’ve got a bunch more pocket ideas brewing in my head, so many in fact that it’s hard to remain focused. To kick today off with a bang I’ve changed up my color scheme (shocking isn’t it?). I want to show you how to make cards where the pockets are the card. Think of these as modified library pockets.
This set of cards uses regular Hero Arts notecards. I’ve cut away the top portion (about 2 1/2″) and sealed up the sides and bottom. These are so easy and perfect for birthday party invitations, Valentines, baby announcements or any occasion. Very FUN!
Here’s how the card looks after cutting away the top portion. I’ve also used a punch to round the top corners.
With a little stamping, some gorgeous paper and pearl accents the pocket card is transformed.
Supplies:
- Pool Notecards
- Blossom Notecards
- French Country
- ClearDesign Scallop Borders
- Light Green Accent Pearls
- Art Flowers White and Cream

Add elements that go above the pocket line.
