Take Two Tuesday
Welcome back. I am back today to share some more thank you card ideas featuring holiday stamps. I wanted to have a new guest to participate, so I asked a stamper whose work I find inspiring - Heather Nichols. Well, she really outdid herself and made 5 great cards and I just had to share them all with you. They are fabulous!
Heather said, “Thanks so much, Jennifer, for inviting me to be a part of the Hero Arts blog! Now that the holidays are wrapping up it’s definitely time to show appreciation for all of the hard work and thoughtfulness that people put into the gifts that we received this holiday season. If you are like me, your stamping desk is probably still covered with supplies from holiday card, tag, and gift making. Don’t put anything away just yet, use those holiday supplies to create some heartfelt thank you cards to send. I like to use the same color scheme and some of the same elements on several cards that I create in one sitting.”
Great tips, Heather. Here are her first two cards. They both feature holiday stamps with non-holiday elements and a thank you greeting. So precious!

I found myself inspired by Heather’s white-on-kraft stamping and playful style. I needed a REALLY quick card that could be personalized for someone special. One of Colin’s friends gave him a Thomas engine for Christmas and I wanted to do a thank you card. So I did simple white-on-kraft stamping and added a photo of him holding the gift. (You can see how much he loves the train!) And although I didn’t include any holiday stamps on it, it is clearly made with the recipient and the holiday gift in mind.
Supplies:
- Clear Design Thank You Messages
- NEW Just a Note Bird Special Edition Stamp Set (for the background)
- White Memories Ink (perfect for stamping on kraft!)
- Black Memories Ink
- Kraft notecard
- Other: a funny photo of a cute kid
By the way… if you like that thank you greeting I used, be sure to check out my post yesterday. I am giving one of those stamp sets away!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for another video. On Thursday, we have some FABULOUS winners from the last challenge. And Friday? We will have LOTS of card and page ideas for you. It will feel like you have hit the jackpot of ideas.
Until then…
