2009 Catalog Sneak Peek #4 + a video!
Welcome back to make-it-in-minutes card week! Today is “Watch It Wednesday”, where we have a video to share with you.
Today’s video features a sneak peek of ALL NEW 2009 Shadow Stamps and NEW Shadow Inks, plus tips and a technique for how to use them! Here’s the card that I’ll show you how to make in the video:
Watch and see how fast this is — I actually had to slow myself down!
I just love these NEW Shadow Inks! Here’s a little more about them:
- Quick drying on all paper surfaces
- Exclusively designed to use with Hero Arts Shadow Stamps
- Stamp subtle washes of delicate color
- New formulation with a new look
- Acid free, archival, and fade resistant
- Come in eight shades
I used Soft Leaf, Soft Blossom, and Soft Lilac on the video card. Here’s a closeup so that you can see it better:
Featured Supplies
- Misty Swirl Background Shadow Stamp
- Shadow Inks in Soft Lilac, Soft Blossom, Soft Leaf
- Slanted Tree
- Small Blossom Gems
I couldn’t resist making one more card. For this one, I used Soft Pool Shadow Ink instead of Soft Lilac, and paired it with a Pool Notecard. Love how the Soft Pool matches the notecard!
Featured Supplies
- Misty Swirl Pattern Shadow Stamp
- Shadow Inks in Soft Pool, Soft Blossom, Soft Leaf
- Felt Snowflakes
- Clear Design Holiday Wishes
- Smooth Clear Gemstones
- Other: Liquid Pearls (Ranger), ribbon
Hope that you are enjoying make-it-in-minutes card week as much as I am! Tomorrow we’ll be announcing the winner’s of last week’s holiday gift challenge.

There’s still time to enter Claudine’s sticky-back canvas giveaway, too! Just click HERE.

I so wish I lived State side, its not that easy to get Hero Arts in England in that I often cannot get the full range that is available. The new designs we’ve seen a peek of are fab, looking forward to getting my hands on at least some of them and creating. Thanks for the inspiration.

What a fantastic stamp and what beautiful cards! I’ll definitely be watching out for these two stamps and will add them to my collection once they become available here in Australia! How easy to creat such striking cards with just a few little extras.
