Watch it Wednesday: Adding Gemstone Details
Hi, all! It’s Jennifer here. Nancy asked me to guest host for today and show you a video with tips and tricks for using Hero Arts gemstones and pearls. They are favorites of mine, so I was happy to say yes.
Here it is…
Supplies:
- Clear Design Happy Thanksgiving
- ArtPrint Brown Memories Ink
- Hero Arts Gemstones
- Hero Arts Pearls
- Basic Grey patterned papers, vintage text paper, Ranger foam applicator (for slight distressing), Creative Impression silk ribbon, Bic permanent pen, Paper Shaper punches
And remember that you can enter this week’s challenge: use your favorite three sets of stamps and inks. For more information, click HERE. Don’t forget the optional bonus challenge: use a photo on your submission for a chance at an extra prize.
Tami and I will be back tomorrow to announce the winners of last week’s paper challenge, and Nancy will share some more fabulous cards on Friday!
Take care,

Thanks for the tips on this card. I didn’t even think about coloring gemstones with markers. I would be in the middle of a project and then would have to run out someplace to see if I could find something the right color. I also am new at this and didn’t know how to apply more than one like you showed in your video. Thank you so much. I love Hero.

I am so pleased to learn that you can color gem stones. That is such a great idea to be able to customize the gems per your card colors.
Thanks
