The Buzz: FIVE Cards of the Week + TWO matching layouts!

You read that title right!  This week we have FIVE Cards of the Week plus TWO matching layouts, all featuring the Clear Design Birds & Branches set.  I love that set — it’s prefect for cards + layouts!

Here are two cards by Barbara — love how she made the accordion fold.  Just goes to show that with a little creativity you can use a 12″ long stamp on a card!

Next up is a card and matching layout by Robyn!

Love how her daughter seems to be looking at the bird on the branch!  Click HERE for more on the layout, and HERE for the sweet matching card.

Finally, here’s a layout + two matching cards by Leslie!

Check out all the yummy details by clicking HERE for the first card,  HERE for the second and HERE for the layout.

Enjoy!

PS.  You may have noticed that the Card of the Week was late this week –  that’s because I was in Tokyo and had to reschedule my flight due to hurricane Ike.  I made it back late yesterday — whew.  Hope that everyone is safe and the hurricane didn’t do too much damage where you live.  I’m sending good thoughts and hugs to all of you and to those who still don’t have power — yikes!

I purchased this stamp set this summer and loved it, but came up only with a few ideas(I’m not as creative as I’d like to be). Now with these great cards you’ve shown today, I can’t wait to make them all… they are all beautiful!

I am strictly a card maker, but after seeing the fantastic scrapbook layouts, I might be getting into scrapbooking! I certainly am well equipped to do so with all my card making supplies!!

Loved the cards and layouts. I love the Hero Arts site. I tend to get stuck in similar designs and color combinations. This helps me think outside the box I stick myself in!

This is a GREAT set, and these samples show how versatile they are. Love that front fold out idea for using the 12 inch stamp!

I sure loved the flip books and would love to make them for my grand kids. I also really like the stamps and ideas that this site and the hero arts company comes up with. They also give great ideas for each of their stamp sets that is great for us that are not very creative and are stuck with no ideas coming to mind. Thanks for the great ideas!!!

Hi I’m looking for some ideas for a scrapbookpage the pictures are of my daughter (now grown) and relatives (deceased) when she was little. I’ll need room for their names. l’ll probably reduce the size of each picture or crop smaller.
    Thanks
