For fun Friday
Welcome back! Wow those were some great winning cards in the Color Challenge, Great job everyone!
Adrienne and I have enjoyed this week immensely. The best part about our collaboration is that it has allowed us to correspond with each other more than usual, even from across the country. Which brings something to mind for me. That’s what stamping and card making is all about isn’t it? It’s connecting with family and friends, plus joining together because of the same interest.
Today I’ll show you the last sketch of the week. I hope you can find inspiration in it for your personal card making.
Adrienne turned the sketch upside down to create her card. This is a great example of the flexibilities of these designs. Remember to try to think outside the box and let your personality show through.
- Supplies:
- Hello Birdie
- Four Bold Messages
- Trees Birds & Messages
- Other:Paper-Basic Grey, Mirror Paper-Worldwin, Brad-Little Yellow Bicycle, Ink-VersaFine Black, Ranger Antique, Rose Distress Ink, StaZon Pink, Pencils-Prisma Color, Odorless Mineral Spirits-Home Depot, Tags-American Tag Co., Jewel Flowers-Hero Arts, Pearls-Kaiser Crafts, Jewels-Heidi Swapp, Ribbon-Creative Impressions, Scissors-Fiskars, Foam Squares-Therm-O-Web
Once again, I couldn’t resist playing with the sketch and Hero Arts stamps (cuz I love them) :o). I chose to stick closely to the sketch design and to keep it very simple. The one difference is that I did a cut out “window” with a circle punch rather than stacking papers on top.
