Everyone needs these cards! (+ another sneak peek!)
It’s “Take Two Tuesday”, when we share two more takes on the weekly challenge. Today I’ll show you how to create your own backgrounds using Clear Design 12” stamps. Two different backgrounds give you a choice of a “quick card” with a generic “celebrate” or the more time consuming “Thank You” with the message repeated on both the front and back to create a “wrap around” card. I have several of these cards in different colors ready to send on a moment’s notice (helps me look really organized).
Supplies:
- Bold Caps Alphabet
- Sparkle Clear Cute letters
- Misty Meadow Chalk Ink
- Hyacinth Notecards and Envelopes
- Art Flowers Spring
- Art Flowers Neutral
- Light Blue Gemstones
- Other: Glue
Instructions:
- Using light blue ink, stamp a background of “Thank You” over the front and back of a Hyacinth Notecard. Stamp a single message on the front of the notecard in a darker blue ink.
- Stamp “so much” from Cute Letters and add a line of gemstones.
- Layer flowers and Gemstones in a grouping along the fold. Pull off a strip of Gemstones and attach along the fold, under some of the flower petals.
Supplies:
- Clear Design Birthday Expressions (click the link for a sneak peek!)
- Sand Dunes Chalk Ink
- Cream Notecards and Envelope
- Art Flowers Neutral
- Art Flowers Spring
- Assorted Crystal Gemstones
- Other: Paper trimmer, glue, patterned paper
Instructions:
- Stamp “celebrate” on a piece of cream cardstock, trim and set aside.
- Mount the message on patterned paper and attach to the front of the stamped cream notecard.
- Add a cluster of flowers to the left of the message and add gemstones.
Come back tomorrow when I’ll have more “sneak peeks” from the Winter Catalog to share with you! I can’t wait until August 1st when you’ll be able to see the whole thing!
Until then,
