Fun Friday with Robyn Werlich + Leslie Lightfoot!

It’s Fun Friday, and Web Artist Robyn Werlich is here to share a FUN layout and matching card — her signature style! Here’s Robyn to tell you all about them!

My daughter, Madisyn, loves to hold her baby brother Jaxon! She asks non-stop to hold and cuddle with him. This day, it was on our bed and it was just the picture perfect moment of a brother and sister and her special love for him - I’m so glad that I captured it on film!

I tried to keep the page fairly simple so the focus was on the photos. I had a lot of fun stamping the Happiness background stamp on an acetate card and embellishing on top of it and underneath it with punched out circles and embellies. It opens up to talk about my thoughts when I saw them together that day. It’s a great way to hide special journaling on your page. Hope you enjoy!

While I had my supplies out, I created a matching card

Thanks bunches Robyn! Those are simply stunning!

Next, up feast your eyes on these fabulous creations by Leslie Lightfoot! And, I do mean feast — the more you look, the more neat details you’ll see…

Red is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors to make layouts with lately. I really like this color combination and had fun using the flower stamp in different ways.

There is nowhere on earth my daughter would rather be that at the beach with sand to play with and water to swim in. I love this photo of her with the wind blowing her hair in every direction and a look of happiness on her face. By putting the flower stamped accents at the top left (cluster) and the bottom right, it brings the eye to the photograph. I added glitter embossing powder to the flowers and then cut them out. I also stamped them in red onto patterned paper as you can see in the bottom right hand corner. The bird image I stamped simply on white cardstock and added to my page… this is one of my favorite Hero Arts stamps right now. It goes with so many different types of layouts.

For the card, I used the same stamps and papers. I stamped the bird image in red at the top of the folded card and then again accented the title/message with the embossed flower accents. This time for the flower accents I punched tiny holes in the centers of each flower and decorated with tiny gem stones also.

Thanks so much Leslie! You rock!

Happy stamping,

Thanks for sharing your projects with us. I love the matching cards. They are totally cool. Robyn, I also like the idea of journaling in a note card for a layout page. That way your thoughts are kept secrets.
