It’s Watch It Wednesday!
Wednesdays are my favorite days on this blog because we get to see videos! And you all know how addicted I am to making them.
Here is a video showing a type of interactive card I have been making often for years - a bookmark card. Basically, the card holds a bookmark for the person to keep. The bookmark slides onto the pages of a book, keeping place perfectly. Here’s how to do it… it is very easy!
Supplies:
- Asian Elements
- One Line Messages
- Colorbox Primary Ink Queue
- Colorbox Rose Petals Ink Queue
- Black Memories Ink
- Notecards
- Other: Colored pencils, ribbon, liquid applique (for flower centers)
Thanks for stopping by. And don’t forget to enter the interactive card challenge!

Did you know you could add a piece of magnet tape and a small piece of metal to the inside bottom of the bookmark and it will hold its place better in book! Love your ideas, Jennifer.

Abby V,
Love this idea! What are the dimensions? I know I can pretty much eyeball it/play around with it, but I’m wondering if anyone can share the measurements that work well. Thanks!!
