Simple and Unique Wedding and Bridal Shower Gifts
Wedding and shower gifts can look like you shopped at an upscale boutique, and it takes very little time. This white, with a hint of pink wrap can be accented with the bride’s favorite colors by simply changing the flower colors.
The white paper has a bit of texture and can be found at most craft stores or small gift shops. The flowers and pearls are glued directly on top of the single loop bow to help secure the knot. Fine sheer ribbon needs a touch of glue if your bow is tied loosely.
Supplies:
- F5042 Leaf Flourish
- Cotton White StazOn Ink
- Art Flowers Neutral
- Medium Accent Pearls
- Other: vellum, cardstock, glue dots, ribbon, wrapping paper and paper trimmer
Gift Card Instructions:
- Trim a piece of pink cardstock to gift card size.
- Cut a piece of vellum to fit the front and stamp the flourish with white StazOn ink. Attach the vellum with glue dots under one end of the flourish. Cover the glue dot with paper flowers placing a pearl in the center of each flower.
- Tuck the tag under the ribbon and your gift is ready for the bride.
My favorite bridal shower gift is a gift card at the bride’s favorite store and handmade thank you notes (for the amount of guests) including postage on the envelopes. I am always surprised at how many guests say they wish they had thought to do the same. This box contains just that, a gift card and thank you notes using the same white flowers and pearls.
There’s still time to enter the Gift Wrap Challenge. Submit your entry to the Hero Arts Flickr Group by Sunday at 11:59 PM PST and tag it with the code word “gift”.
Have fun,

What a great gift! A friend of mine gives handmade card sets as gifts all the time … and she has gotten such a positive response, that her friends are now begging her to sell them more sets!

This is so beautiful. I am hosting a bridal shower in August for my future daughter-in-law so I want everything down to the last detail to be perfect. I intend to “wrap”lift this idea!!
