I had many of you ask about Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Jennifer McGuire has done a video on how to use this great product. You can find her tutorial here. Just check the left column for Gamsol and color pencils. She’s fantastic at teaching a great How To. Thanks Jennifer!
I can’t help myself, I want you to play with this great stamp too. Another PRIZE giveaway. Please leave a comment by 11:59 PST tonight. I’ll randomly pick three lucky winners. Good luck! Since we’re still enjoying the theme of flowers, nature and spring, feel welcome (optional of course) to share what season of the year is your favorite and why.
I am very much into spring, with all the flowers, birds and baby bunnies we see around, but even more, I’m into Baseball. I associate the two together because my son Scooter played for years, when practice started it meant the weather was soon to improve. I don’t like the cold. :o)
I want to remind you that you have until Sunday at 11:59 PST to get your flower challenge cards into the Flickr group. Be sure to tag them “flowers”. It’s certainly blooming over there. Such lovely pieces of art.
Enjoy the day (and AL tonight…lol)!
Till Tomorrow,

Susy
Gorgeous way to use the stamp. We are at the end of Autumn at the moment and it would have to be my favourite season. The days although gettting a little chilly now have mostly been sunny and clear but not too hot and the nights have been cool and fresh, lovely to snuggle in front of the fire and of course there is the colours of autumn, who could resist those.

Thank you once again for another informative video. I only wish I had more flower stamps after seeing all the lovely cards. My favourite season is now. I love that our days are not so hot (& humid) & the nights are starting to get a chill to them. It’s a welcome relief to our hot summers here (Queensland Australia).

I love this technique, you can achieve such beautiful works of art. Flower stamps are one of my favorites, especially the lovely natural ones we can get of Hero Arts.
The cards you made are a great inspiration, I make cards for the church for Sympathy and Get well, this will be a great way to stamp them with a nice soft finish. Thanks for a great week.
Andrea.

Great cards. Thanks for allowing the Lord to use you to bless us with your talent. May you be blessed in all you do!

I know that I posted once already that these are awesome cards. I was wondering if you have tried the same technique using something like radiant pearls? Thanks for the great ideas!

I have no doubt: my favorite season is spring. Nature gives it’s best with all the kind of colors, days are lighter, sun shines ! Ok, this week here in Milan we had a lot of rain, but I hope sun will come back soon.

Spring is my favorite time of year and the flowers will always remind me of my Grandmother’s garden full of beautiful flowers in Germany. She did not have everything perfectly landscaped, more the natural look and it made it even more beautiful. It all just worked well together, just like the cards you’ve created this week. Love the natural look of the silhouette corner stamp!!!!
