Judging from the cards shared in the Flicker Group this week, we all love our flowers, birds, and butterflies. I have really enjoyed seeing all these and getting multiple ideas for using stamps.

Thanks for the storage ideas too. I have a fairly large stamp/scrap room, but usually have several projects going at once, so I still manage to create clutter. My biggest storage issue is scraps. Can’t bear to toss anything, so I end up with boxes of scrap cardstock that I keep sorted by color family. I swear they sneak out and multiply at night.

I’d have to say I’m a glutton for flowers of all kinds. Presently the real ones I like are liliy of the valley and bleeding hearts- have a frient who has white bleeding hearts- very pretty. Flower stamps are fun, but I know I’m really bad when I take the only break in an all day class to do die cut large flowers for backgrounds so I’m fully stocked when I get home. Stamps store easy- die cuts are large and pricey. one should always take advantage of flowers. Loved the new techniques I learned from this blog. Thanks.

Flowers are the best and especially this time of the year after a long COLD spring. I have so many favorites, right now my two most favorites would be tulips and peonies. Unbelievably, here in Minnesota, the tulips are at their peak which is about a month behind. They will lead right into peonies!

I have so many favourites it is hard to choose just one!! I do love coneflowers…I have the pink ones in my garden. Right now I have purple alliums coming up and they are so colourful and unusual

I love my lavender, I have 3 kinds, English, French, and um.. another one =) It was the first thing i plants when we moved in and I cut a little each year on mothers day to give to my mum, MIL and all the grandmothers, tied with a ribbon that has a matching mother’s day card. It smells so lovely and is so reminiscent of things soft, gentle, purply and sweet smelling.
