The winners of Aaron’s challenges are…
Aaron had two challenges for everyone during his blog week — the first was to “tell your story” using Hero Arts stamps, and the second was a special challenge to use the OLDEST Hero Arts stamps you own.
We judges all had our work cut out for us choosing the winners — wow, everyone stamped such great creations! Thank you for sharing your stories with us. And, seeing all of the old stamps is like meeting old friends.
After much thought, each judge picked their favorites for the two challenges, then we put them in two hats and randomly picked the winners.
And now…
The random winners of the “tell your story” challenge are…
…insert drumroll…

And now for the 3 random winners of the OLDEST stamp challenge!
…drumroll…
stampyra’s Bear Happy Holiday Stamp from 1988!

Here’s another view of stampyra’s card — gotta love that silver embossing powder and layering!
Next is leapfronglbna’s “wascally wabbits” card using a stamp from 1985!
And, finally, rrlscrapgal’s card with using a Hero Arts stamp from 1983!
The judges cracked up reading that it hadn’t been cleaned for 23 years, ha ha! We can definitely relate to that.
Congratulations everyone, and thanks for digging out your oldest stamps to share! Please email us at the address on the sidebar so that Aaron can send some special goodies to you!
Don’t forget, you still have time to enter this week’s Pink Challenge. See all the details here.

I hope that when I have been crafting for as many years as some of you I too will come up with such fun creations
julie
Thanks ever so much for choosing my page as one of this weeks winners. Congrats to the other winners too.
Erin Glee
Congratulations to all the winners!
And Andi Sexton~ rrlscrapgal, no need to “be flabbergasted” you did not use the oldest stamps in this challenge…. the OLD Pack-Rat yours truely did! You are just a BETTER & LUCKIER stamper, as they were randomly picked from the judges favorites. I used two stamps from 1978 in my entry; sunrise(sunset?) and an owl. They do not have code numbers or color indexing, and the sides of the wood block are straight, not curved to fit your fingers better, as they are made now….I was a Jr. in High school when these babies were made-see? OLD!

well done winners, there were lots of great stories and it’s really interesting to see how the stamp designs have evolved over the years
