More cards to show you care…
As a little bonus today, I am showing you some sweet little caring cards. Like I said before, animal stamps aren’t usually my first choice, but I used this one on a recent assignment and LOVED making the embroidery floss into a feathery tail.
If you think I have “tag-itis”, I do. One tag and a few stamps can make a simple, quick card in this fast paced world we live in.
Supplies:
- Clear Design Thinking of You Messages
- Spring Tags
- Decorative Birds Design Accents
- Pink, scraps of Cantaloupe, Strawberry
- Other: ribbon (Creative Impressions), colored pencils, Heart punch (EK Success), embroidery floss
Instructions: Stamp words in black on blossom card. Stamp bird on tag. Stamp again on cantaloupe and strawberry scraps. Cut out and color if needed. Mount on top of stamped bird on tag. Punch heart and adhere. Tie and knot floss and glue to tail. Add ribbon, Mount onto card.
You know me, once I start stamping I just can’t stop. Here’s another card made with the same stamps
Supplies:
- DesignBlock Stencil
- Clear Desgin Thinking of You Messages
- Decorative Birds
- Kraft, Strawberry, Pink Notecards
- Small Accent Pearls
- White StazOn
- Other: Scallop punch, colored pencils, patterned paper (Sassafras Lass)
Instructions: Stamp words and bird on white in black. Place scallop punch so only some of the words show. Cut a heart from strawberry. Cut strawberry strip and stamp floral print in white StazOn. Glue to kraft card. Add pearls. Shade bird with colored pencils. Adhere with foam tape. Mount heart next to bird. Cut patterned paper to fit envelope for liner. Glue inside.
