This week we have five fabulous Cards of the Week, each featuring the fun Pattern Flowers stamp! Come see what Web Artists Jacki Jones, Kandis Smith and Robyn Werlich came up with — it’s all in the Flower Card Gallery.

There’s also a kit in the Hero Arts Online Store for one of the cards, or find the stamps and supplies at your local retailer.

Another stamp to add to my wish list…… this blog is costing me money!! Is anyone else finding that to be the same for them? Oh please tell me I don’t have some “problem”. I just love the sample cards and am amazed at the creative minds people are blessed with. Thanks to all. :)

Here’s a little story for Aaron–

In the fall of 1993 my son was coming home from college for Thanksgiving and bringing a young lady who was a stranger to our rather colorful extended family. I love to have a pretty table for holidays, and I wanted place cards to make it easier for our visitor to identify family members. I looked and looked, but couldn’t find anything in the stores until I wandered into a small shop where the owner suggested I make place cards with a rubber stamp and heat embossing in gold. I was hooked almost immediately and began experimenting with stamping. Within about six months, I was teaching classes at a number of local stores. Not long after, I took a driving trip from my home in Washington down I-5, stopping at every stamp store through Washington, Oregon, and finally to California where I spent a week taking classes at Stampa Barbara. A great memory. For the next several years, in addition to teaching locally, I attended and taught at the Stamp Your Art Out convention in Cincinatti too. Now that I’m a little older, and still a rabid stamper, most of my teaching is with a group of seniors and my friends in our club, “The Rubber Band”. I am enjoying the clear design stamps immensely, as they are easy to see and handle and storage is not so much of a problem. Should I mention my collection is several thousand stamps large?

Wow, I love all the ideas brought together for just one stamp! My favorite is the one done on the pale blue card with the big dotted ribbon.
