Make It in a Minute Card and Envelope
It’s time for “Fun Fridays”, when we share something fun!
Using only two colors of ink and accessories this simple, yet playful card can be made sitting in the parking lot of the post office, where admittedly some of my cards are put together. I have duplicated the use of several sets during my blog week because that’s how I stamp — seeing how many ways I can use images in several sets.
Supplies:
- Clear Design Anytime Messages
- Sparkle Clear Happy Day
- Special Edition Message Blocks
- Art Flowers Natural
- Pearl Combo
- Kraft Notecards and Envelopes
- Black and ArtPrint Brown inks
- Other: glue, paper trimmer and white cardstock.
Instructions:
- Stamp the back flap of the Kraft envelope using the flower border in black ink. Loosely trim around the flowers and add a white strip of paper, trimming to match the cut edge of the brown flap.
- Stamp the front of the envelope with a message blocks set using black ink.
- Stamp the image again on white cardstock, trim and mount on brown cardstock. Stamp the message in Artprint brown ink.
- Add the flowers and Pearl Gems and your card is ready for mailing.
And now for even more fun! Web Artist Robyn Werlich took up the Envelope Challenge, and just look at what fun things she came up with. The Kraft envelope holds a message to her son, Jaxon. Thanks, Robyn!

Have you submitted your Envelope Challenge entries yet? There’s still plenty of time to take up the challenge. Submit your entry to the Hero Arts Flickr Group by Sunday at 11:59 PM PST and tag it with the code word “envelope”.
Visit the blog again this weekend for two more days of fun!
Until then,

I have found blogging a real help this week to take my mind off the sudden death of my mother whom I shared a passion for card making with. We used to spend hours crafting together and sharing ideas and I would often tell her about ideas I had seen on HA. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Debbie Smith
What a neat card and page. I just love everything about HA and this blog is a great way to make me go back and look at some of my old stamps in a new way.

Make it in a Minute:
Without a question, I’m a fan of the color palette. Enough with the obvious. Only 15% of the males in my life fish or hunt. I envision staying with the darker flowers and using it for a masculine birthday card.
Blog Work Week + Two More Days:
Each day has been one more colorful flower to add to the bouquet. Thank you for the addtional contribution to my mental health.
