“Watch It Wednesday” - A video for you

Welcome back!

On “Watch It Wednesday” we will show you a video or series of photos to demonstrate some fun stamping techniques and projects. This week I created a video inspired by the challenge to use something clear. It is a clear card. There are several fun techniques and tips in the video - enjoy! (Based on your feedback, I added a voice-over to the video. If you do not see a video, it is probably because YouTube is being blocked. To check, trying clicking this link - if you still don’t see anything you are being blocked. Sorry!)

Oh, and another tidbit: Did you know that there is a new card idea (or 2) posted every Monday on heroarts.com? Every Wednesday brings a new scrapbook page and we often add new things in between. Be sure to check them out. There are lots of great ideas from some wonderful artists.

Do come back tomorrow — we have more ideas and projects to share. And remember to participate in our clear weekly challenge before it ends Sunday at 11:59 p.m. PST!

The video was so informative. I always struggle with hiding the tape, and your suggestions were terrific. The card set was adorable, and I began to think of other possibilities. Will be going to my local store to purchase it. I read the entire blog as soon as I received it and visited all the sites referenced. Hero Arts has come up with another amazing idea with this blog. The creativity continues!

Video clips never work so well with dial-up, but that’s my own problem. I’ll just have to be happy for everyone else who can view it well. I love the restulting card sample, though. The white stamped designs on the clear card border really stand out well.

    Jennifer,

You did a very nice job with your video presentation. (I’m a former Public Speaking professor, so I’ve got some street cred!) I expected to learn how to make the card, but I was pleasantly surprised at all the little extra tips you included. VERY nice and much appreciated. You’re doing great!

I love the smaller size letters, flowers, birds etc. They look like just the right size for a calendar. A “D” with and owl for Dale’s graduation date!!
    “M” and a flower for Mother’s Day!

Also what about monogramed note cards for graduates or a special gift for a friend or family member!

I Love the video clips . . . I learn so much better than just from a print format.

    Pam
