Welcome!

Hero Artists pictured from left to right: Shari Carroll, Sally Traidman, Nancy Taylor, Lisa Spangler and Jennifer McGuire.

Hello and welcome to the Hero Arts blog. My name is Aaron Leventhal and I am the CEO of Hero Arts.

We are thrilled to launch this blog, which will feature weekday postings designed to inspire stamping creativity. The Hero Arts Artists (pictured above) will take turns hosting this exciting new venture. We will also invite well-known artists from the cardmaking and scrapbooking world to join in!

To usher in the first week of our new blog, Tim Holtz and Ali Edwards will join our very own Jennifer McGuire.

You’ll meet our entire team over the next few months, so keep coming back! We also look forward to seeing the wonderful ideas, samples and comments from you.

The community of stampers is what makes this industry wonderful and what inspires us to come up with new designs. You are our family, and we give family only the best.

Here are some of the exciting things you can expect with the blog. First of all, contests, contests, and more contests! We want you to show off your great stamping ideas and we want to hear your suggestions, experiences and more. To promote a free exchange of ideas, we are offering:

  • Challenges every Monday. Prizes will vary each week but typically will be $50, $25 and $10 gift certificates to our online store.
  • $100 WishList “Shopping Sprees” each month for HeroClub members, chosen randomly from comments made on the blog during the month.
  • For March 31, the first day of our blog, we will randomly select three people from the comments to receive a collection of Hero Arts products (valued at more than $50.00).

In addition to contests, a typical week on our blog will offer:

  • Motivation Mondays. An idea for the week, offered with a contest. Winners will be announced the following Thursday.
  • Take Two Tuesdays. A creative technique built around the weekly idea that was presented Monday.
  • Watch It Wednesdays. Step-By-Step pictures or video sparked by the weekly idea.
  • You’re Talented Thursdays. We will highlight the winning entries from the previous week’s contest.
  • For Fun Fridays. The Hero Arts Artists will offer creative ideas for a weekend full of stamping.

We hope you enjoy the new Hero Arts blog and find inspiration that will get you — and keep you — stamping. After 33 years in the industry, we are just as passionate, just as excited and just as invigorated about stamping as we were in 1974. We hope you agree. I look forward to seeing you around HeroArts.com.

AARON

All the stamps at Hero Arts are wonderful, but my very, very, favorite stamp is the bird cage. I waited almost a month for it at my local store! It is just so elegant looking and can be used for any occasion.

This is wonderful. My favorite Hero Arts stamp is the bithday candles. I also Birthday Wishes Fancy Notes. I also like some of your flower stamps. I live in Savannah, GA and the only two stores here are AC Moore and Michaels. Neither one has a very good selection of stamps.

I know this is a day late but I must get my two cents worth in.
Chosing my favorite Hero Arts stamp is like choosing my favorite child. Can’t be done. I love them all. Same goes for the catalogs. I keep every one because they are inspirational. I will say I am a sucker for flowers though.
Just wish my stamping room wasn’t torn apart while we paint. I find inspiration and can’t get to the stamps. I call it my rubber room.

I’ve never done a ‘blog’ before. but I’m taking the plunge because you have great prizes….. and right in time for my birthday! I have been looking at the silhoutte and trying to figure out if it’s the best cutting tool and I am already hooked on Hero stamps so it’s great that you are both together now!.
I appreciate all the wonderful ideas others have created and hope to post my own idea one of these days.
