Hero Studio is the reimagined Hero Arts monthly subscription program, now with six original options each month. Starting June 2024, Hero Studio replaces the “My Monthly Hero” or MMH program.

Subscribers get free shipping, and can “bundle” any additional items during launch week that will also ship free (US only).  Plus, if you subscribe you will always get your kit, as they often sell out fast. In addition, there are special newsletters, content, discounts and promos from time-to-time for subscribers only. Subscriptions are auto-renewing, and you can cancel anytime, hassle-free. How great is that?

You can subscribe to any of the six options of the Hero Studio before the 1st of the month to get the newest offering. If you wait past that time, you will be subscribed for the following month's kits. Here are key dates:

• 1st of month:  You are charged for that month’s kit
• First Monday:  Kit launches 
• First Thursday:  You can add extras to your box by 12pm PT without extra shipping costs (US only)
• First Friday:  We start shipping all Hero Studio orders!
• 15th of month:  Sneak peeks for following month’s choices

If you subscribe by the 28th of the month, your subscription will start with the following month's kit.  For example, if you subscribe by July 28, you will get the August kit, but if you subscribe on or after the 29th, you would start with September.

Your card will be billed immediately when you first subscribe. Then, going forward, your subscription will be billed on the 25th of each month for month-to-month plans (at a discounted price). For 6-month subscriptions, it will only bill every 6 months on the 25th (the full amount for 6 kits at the discounted subscriber price).

Your subscription is auto-renewing, so once you subscribe, it will renew until you decide to cancel your auto-renew, which you can do anytime.

Yes you do – if you are in the US. Not only that, you get free shipping on anything you decide to purchase during the launch week before shipping (Thursday, 12:00PM PT of launch week). International subscribers get $7.50 off real-time calculated rates (see below for more details).

Here are the ways to change:

• If you are a monthly Classic subscriber and want to move to the monthly Premium subscription, you can purchase a new Premium kit subscription at heroarts.com/subscribe and then cancel your old subscription in your My Account under Subscriptions. 
• Alternatively, if you prefer you can use the “Swap” button My Account under Subscriptions which cancels your old Classic monthly subscription and changes you to the new Premium subscription with one click.
• If you are a monthly subscriber and want a 6-month subscription, cancel your monthly in your My Account under Subscriptions and sign-up for a new 6-month (Classic or Premium) subscription at heroarts.com/subscribe.
• If you are a current 6-month subscriber, and want to switch to a new 6-month Premium subscription, contact us and we will get you all set-up.

For subscribers only, we always offer product discounts on Featured Products, and occasional specials during kit launch week, which will come via email on launch day (typically the first Monday of each month). Discounts include 20% off a group of “Featured Products,” typically current popular items related to the monthly theme. In the past, we have also given a free catalog, extra freebies in the box, and more. We try to add new specials all of the time.

The skip would extend your subscription by a month. So let’s say you see the sneak peeks for the October kit and decide it may not be for you. You could utilize your one “skip,” and we would then add an extra month onto the tail end of your subscription, basically meaning 6 kits over 7 months.

On the top of all pages on heroarts.com you will see “My Account” (a little person icon). Click there, log in if not already logged in, and you will see a “Subscriptions” link on the left side of your dashboard. Click “Subscriptions” and you will see options to change your billing information, or alter your subscription plans. 

For 6-month subscriptions, you can cancel your auto-renew anytime you choose. Be sure to do so before the auto-renewal date. Once you have canceled the auto-renew and your 6-month term has elapsed, you will not be charged again and will not receive any more kits. We are not able to give refunds on any unshipped kits, although you do have the option to upgrade to a Premium 6-month subscription from a Classic by contacting us to make the change.

For monthly kits, you can cancel by the 24th of the month prior to launch through your Account “Dashboard” on heroarts.com.

Yes you do! For every $1 spent on heroarts.com, for registered Hero Rewards members, you earn 1 point. This includes your subscriptions, dollar for dollar.  In addition, starting with the March 2023 kit, subscribers get extra bonus points! You get an additional 25 bonus Hero Rewards points per month for a Classic subscription or 50 bonus Hero Rewards points per month for a Premium subscription. These bonus points will be added to your rewards account each month you have an active subscription on the 28th of the month ahead of launch day.

At this time we offer a monthly subscription option for international customers. You get all of the benefits of being a subscriber with the shipping being discounted by $7.50 off of real-time calculated rates. At this time we are no longer offering 3- and 6-month subscriptions to international customers.
